Mozilla Firefox has reached yet another milestone. Firefox add on download has crossed a whopping 3 Billion (3,000,000,000!) mark and still counting. This is something very remarkable for Mozilla Firefox.
Out of most downloaded the top five are as follows:
- NO: 1 Adblock Plus: With more than 13.5 million daily users (and more than 166 million total downloads). This add helps users give them control of how they view the web by controlling ads and other unwanted annoying tracking.
- NO: 2 Video DownloadHelper :is a tool for web content extraction. Its purpose is to capture video and image files from many sites.
- NO: 3 Firebug: this add on lets you to customize the way a web page displays or behaves, by using small bits of JavaScript ,you can also edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML and JavaScript live in any web page.
- NO: 4 Greasemonkey : Provides similar functionality as Firebug.
- NO: 5 Download Statusbar: This helps you to view and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar – without the download window getting in the way of your web browsing.
Good going Mozilla. 🙂
