Yet another Google (acquired) service is going down. This time it’s Slide, a popular community gaming and sharing portal. In a quite surprising move Slide had published that it’s retiring lots of service and unfortunately most of them which are hot and favorite of users around the world.

Slide blog says

“…..While we are incredibly grateful to our users and for all of the wonderful feedbacks over the years, many of these products are no longer as active or haven’t caught on as we originally hoped.”

Slide has promised that it will allow users to import or save all their important stuffs which they have maintained on their Slide account.

Slide users around the world are shocked with this decision and couple of them asking to Google that why did they acquire if they want to finally close it? Some says that it’s very bad from Google since even when the end was near it promoted most of Slide products which might have tempted users in spending money on those.

Well it’s even rumored that Google have now Google +, and they want all of them into it whether you love it or not.
