I have posted about the new Google images launch by Google and the people response. Good news is that Google has not altogether removed the old feature, wow nice news and actually you can get back your old layout.
- By official step: to get your much liked old settings back the official way is first open the Google images and search for anything in that and thus it provide the results.
- Now scroll down to bottom of the results and just below all your results you will find “Switch back to old version”. Click that, that’s it now it will load your old layout. See the below image for reference.
The unofficial trick: Just add &sout=1 in the search result URL and hit the return key. But I don’t know how long it will work 🙂
Comment me back if you like the post and have new tips to add on 🙂

Hi,
The solution to save it permanently to the basic modus is easy unless it took also a time to find out.
Go to the compatibility button when you are on the image page, this setting is stored permanent.
Layout and resultpage are in the old format.
To restore :
Tools -> compatibility view settings delete google.xxx in this screen
That’s it
Enjoy the old Google images
Cheers
