If we all think that it’s only the Facebooks and Goggles are the people only around the tech world who are interested in Social network projects and the Software and tech giants like Microsoft is not in race then we might have to rethink soon.

Couple of days ago Microsoft research team’s research project codenamed socl.com accidently as they say, displayed their research project named Tulalip which had a teaser saying “With Tulalip you can Find what you need and Share what you know easier than ever” . Well even though Microsoft Research team quickly removed the page and also put a comment saying “Thanks for stopping by. Socl.com is an internal design project from a team in Microsoft Research which was mistakenly published to the web. We didn’t mean to, honest.”  It has already ignited a huge set of rumor cloud all around the tech world.

Well by this leak it may be certain that Microsoft is also thinking seriously about Social projects. So probably this may mean that Facebook and Google will have to face another great challenge ahead and since it’s going to be from the giant Microsoft it won’t give many of the present services a good sleep now.

The leak did not allow many to explore it more since it was taken off very fast, still its main page give a good look and with option to access service with Facebook and Twitter credentials which is something very strange and unique.

Well at present what we can do is to wait. Hopefully Microsoft will come out something more exiting than Facebooks and Googles.
