Blackberry services won’t be banned in UAE.TRA lifts ban.

TRA (Telecom Regulatory Authority-UAE) has announced that Blackberry services would continue the same thus ban which was announced to commence from Oct 11th 2010 will not come into effect. This is a result of decision taken between Blackberry and TRA like the same which happened in India and Saudi Arabia. Well as per reports the authorities will have some access to Blackberry servers from the main land Canada at present but setting up the servers in main land UAE is not may be sure in cards. Authorities have not given out many details about the ban lift but confirmed that there won’t be any ban and BB services will continue as same. This is great news for BB users and the telecom providers which have faced tough days when this ban was announced. The sales had gone down to 1% in UAE and lots of present users sold their handsets, send back sets to India etc and  some migrated to Iphone 4 .

So Blackberry users, have a happy days ahead, sure something to cheer about. 🙂
