We are presenting the list of the worlds most viewed Bit Torrent sites. In 2012, most visitors viewed Pirate Bay but six year old TV –torrent distribution group EZTV listed 8th rank. Oldest torrent sites on the Internet “TORRENT REACTOR” are vanishing from the TOP 10 list of 2012. Russian based site was enlisted in TOP 10 in 2006; this time unfortunately missed the rank. Last years hot newcomer “LIME TORRENTS” was dropped this year.
Below list of TOP 10 of 2012 which is based on traffic report from compete and Alexa. We have enlisted the sites which most visited sites from the Jan 2012 and it is in public and English language.

This site was introduced in the market in 2003 still its expanding. There are various legal and blockades obstacle faced by them. It is the best known Bit Torrent on the Internet, almost 2 billion page views a month.

This is the Meta search engine for torrents. Torrentz service does not have any torrent files hosted by them.
3) Kickass Torrents: – 
This site is one of the youngest site which was introduced in 2009. Kickass torrents have always been innovative and releases new features every time. This site moved from the kickasstorrents.com from domain to kat.ph a few months ago. This year ranked in TOP 3.
4) Iso Hunt: – 
Iso Hunt was the torrent first search engine forced to implement a keyword filter in 2010 given by the MPAA. It is still listed in the Top Torrent sites though facing hindrance. Iso Hunt hopes to get rid of the filter through the Appeals Court.
5) BTjunkie: – 
Due to court order of Italy, this site was blocked for few months. So owner of the site introduced ad-free proxy sit for Italians. Last year and also this year site was on 5th rank.
6) Extra Torrent: – This is strong torrent site; Very Often comes in lime light. But last year it was on 7th rank now it is on the 6th rank.
7) Demonoid: – This is the semi private Tracker successful to attract huge audience. Team of Demonoid still is working on renovation of the site.
8) EZTV: For the past six years EZTV is important TV-torrent distribution group serve TV content only. First time they are enlisted in TOP 10 of 2012.
9) Bitsnoop: – This new comer site impresses the huge audience this year. This is observed by RIAA who filed the case in US district Court of Columbia cause was hidden identity of Bit snoop’s owner
10)1337x :- New site which is enlisted in TOP 10 of 2012. Which is based on community aspect and ad free torrent sites with public trackers due to this strategy its 10th place this year.
