Apple has won the battle against Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, as the fact remains that its copycat of IPad and Apple got the results for that. Apple has won a case against Samsung; German court has granted a preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 on Tuesday 9th of August which denies Samsung from releasing its much hyped Samsung Galaxy Tab in Germany and which can head to European Union (EU countries). If you ask for the reason it’s pretty simple since Galaxy Tab is complete copycat of Apple’s IPad (by design and UI). The injunction is active now which stop Samsung from releasing Tab 10.1 Germany with immediate effect and this may affect in other EU countries too.
Apple complains “Rather than innovate and develop its own technology and a unique Samsung style for its smart phone products and computer tablets, Samsung chose to copy Apple’s technology, user interface and innovative style in these infringing products”.
The same has happened in Australia where Apple has won the battle which will delay the Galaxy Tab 10.1 release.
All these developments has paved way for delaying things for Samsung , which planned a world wide release of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 and which was much hyped and said to give tough competition for Apple IPad.
Samsung should learn from the old saying that “Original is always Original” and copy cats don’t survive on long run. Time for them to do an internal check about where and what went wrong for them!!!
