2 PSP RPGs with the Most Bang For Your Buck.

The Sony PSP has been out for a few years now and the library has grown over ten thousand strong. One common complaint of PSP games, however, is often length. Very few PSP games feature more than 20 hours of gameplay, and when most games cost around $40 new that can be a problem. Here are 2 PSP games that are not only great games, but also offer huge amounts of content.

1. Phantasy Star Portable 2

Phantasy Star Portable 2 is an action RPG developed by Sega and is the latest in the long running Phantasy Star series. The campaign mode follows a character you create and gives about 40 hours of gameplay with multiple endings. If that weren’t enough, the game also features an in-depth multiplayer mode where you can take your character from the story on dozens of missions. The multiplayer mode works both locally with another PSP and over the Internet. With all of the things to level up and secret items to find someone can very easily get hundreds of hours of gameplay from Phantasy Star Portable 2 and enjoy every minute of it.

2. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable is a PSP remake of the PS2 cult hit Persona 3. The game lets you choose from either a male or female protagonist and then sets you loose to live the life of a Japanese teen with a twist. You have to do normal things like make friends, attend class and join clubs but all of that changes at night. When the clock strikes midnight a giant dungeon with hundreds of floors appears with demons for you to slay and clues to help you solve the towns mysteries. Each perspective is wildly different so the game encourages you to play through both genders. Each campaign is about 50 hours so together the game runs about 100 hours and that’s without any of the side quests and secret items. Persona 3 Portable also features one of the most well written stories available on the PSP. While it’s far from your normal video game, the 100+ hours of content and amazing story make it worth every penny spent.
