Steps to speed up your Windows 7

Windows 7 is elegant and fast operating system but also it does not compromise on security or with any hardware or software compatibility. Since now lot of software’s and application already support it we might have installed many to check or to use them. Now this article helps you to make you Windows 7 more compact and speedy so that you will feel all the comfort when you work with this.

Some steps to improve you Windows 7 speed (In built)

  1. Disk cleanup: Click StartAll Programs – click on System Tools – now click Disk Cleanup. Now you will details on how many unwanted files are there in you machine in a customized manner like in different drives, folder and related contents. You can select the required from the list and then click Clean up my system button.(Note you can avoid files which you think that you may require)
  2. Disk Defragmentation: Click Start All ProgramsAccessories, click System Tools, and then click Disk Defragmenter. Now on click the Analyze button, this will say if you drive requires a defragmentation, if it says you need to defragment then go ahead. Defragmentation makes you hard disk file systems compact and thus improved the PC performance.
  3. Check and repair disk errors: Click Start – click My Computer ( You can also right click on My Computer from desktop and select Properties) – in Properties select Tools – select Check Now in Error-checking select the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box, and then click Start.
  4. Protection from Spyware: Protect your pc updated with a good anti virus and try to use your system safely when you browse. Never click on adware’s or so called free stuffs from internet because these may be adware or spamming or malicious code which can cause a severe damage on your system and also make your system very slow.
