Blackberry secret codes are going to beneficial for both, an ordinary user or a Blackberry Administrator. In one of our post we have mentioned about a secret Blackberry tweak by which you can fix the duplicate contact issue in Blackberry.
In this article I will explain couple of very useful yet not much known or heard about Blackberry Secret Codes which can be very handy for us at tough situations.These Blackberry Secret Codes are used by many experts but are so simple to use that anyone try this out.
Very Useful Blackberry Secret Codes:
- Verify the Contacts in Blackberry: By this Blackberry Secret Codes you can check the data in your Address Book for inconsistencies. For that, open the Contacts –> from the Contacts press and hold “Alt” key and press “V“, “A“, “L“, “D” keys. This will do validation of your present contacts and fix any issues related.
- Restructure the Contacts (address book): This process will do a complete restructure/rebuild of the contacts, this tweak can be used if the above mentioned fails. For doing this Open Contacts –> from the Contacts press and hold “Alt” key and press “R“, “B“, “L“, “D” keys.
- Check signal strength: By this Blackberry Secret Codes you can display the signal strength in your device in decibels, instead of traditional bars. For checking it, Hold the “Alt” key and press “N“, “M“, “L“, “L” keys. You can undo the change by repeating the same steps.
- Event Log: You can check all of all the system-level events that occur on your device with this step, Hold the “Alt” key and press “L“, “G“, “L“, “G” keys.
- System Info (IMEI ): You can view complete details of your Blackberry device like IMEI number, PIN number, MAC number, Up time ,Signal strength etc. etc. with this trick. For that Press and Hold “Alt” key and press “E” “A” “C” “E” keys.
Note: Even though there are no risk involved in using Blackberry Secret Codes, as an additional safety measure its recommended that you keep a backup of the device.
