Windows 8: Official pre-release version now available for download.

Microsoft’s next much awaited operating system – Windows 8 is already much hyped. Well the greatest and latest news in the series is that now you can try out the Windows 8 prerelease version and that too official release from Microsoft.

First look on the generation next operating system from Windows shows great improvement in UI (user interface). First of all Windows 8 will be completely different in its style and looks.

Unlike the traditional desktop interface which was followed by Windows based operating system till Windows 7, this time with Windows 8 considering the growing demands of touch technology and touch based devices like smartphones and tabs Microsoft has made remarkable changes in them. First of all Desktop looks clutter free and desktop traditional ways of displaying icons over desktops has also been omitted or rather can be said as given a new style. Another change is the style of Start menu and taskbar which becomes invisible and only hovers over when the curser is pointed out. (Of course I believe for traditional style lovers Microsoft would give some customization options).

The below video from Atomoiz gives us great look through how Windows 8 looks like, do watch below.
