With the release of Internet Explorer 9, Microsoft has released Internet Explorer Administration Kit 9 which can be used specifically to customize your browser. With this application you can manage user settings after Internet Explorer 9 deployment like custom customer support page, customize Users’ home page, edit and set your choice of search providers, customization of Favorites bar,  Add-on Components page for additional components and functionalities ,Add Web Slices, Accelerators . In short you can decide how your web browser should be.

Some things which you can do with Admin Kit are:

1. Distribution options: Decide how you want to deploy the browser whether from LAN or a storage media. You can also completely avoid any software from updating codes in client’s pc or machines.
